Brownies with White Choc Buttons
Brownies come in so many different varieties, but my favourite kinds are the ones that are really dense and a bit gooey. This brownie is exactly that and I'm not sharing. Well, I kinda am, since the recipe is right here, but you know what I mean.
Serves 12
what you need
2 ripe avocados
10 medjool dates, stones removed
1 cup of almond meal
1/4 cup buckwheat flour
1/2 cup raw cacao powder
1/2 cup almond butter
1 teaspoons vanilla powder
3/4 cup maple syrup
2 flax eggs
1/2 cup of vegan white chocolate buttons
what to do
Preheat oven to 160C fan forced. Line your tray with baking paper.
Throw all ingredients, but the white chocolate, into a food processor and blend until smooth, then add the chocolate and pulse for a seconds.
Bake for about 30-35 minutes of until a knife come out clean. Allow to cool in tray for about 20 minutes to set for a bit. Dust with raw cacao and serve with berries and coconut whip.
