Chocolate and Strawberry Granola
I particularly love this because even though it’s chocolatey, it’s still healthy, and requires so little effort you can put it together in a few minutes and enjoy it for a week.
makes 3 cups
what you need
2 cups of rolled oats
1/2 cup of almonds
1/2 cup of seeds and nuts
3 tablespoons maple syrup
3 tablespoons coconut oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 tablespoons raw cacao
40 g dehydrated strawberries
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of sea salt
What to do
Pre-heat oven to 120C.
Place all ingredients, except for the dehydrated strawberries, in a large bowl and mix together making sure everything is well combined. Spread evenly in a large baking dish and cook in a 120 degree oven for about 15-20 minutes. Check every now and then and give the mixture a stir so that it cooks evenly and doesn’t burn.
When it’s ready take out of the oven and allow to cool. Then stir in the strawberries and store in an airtight container. It will easily last a month.
