Turmeric and Cinnamon Summer Smoothie

When it's too hot for chai, I drink this instead. Turmeric has many health benefits and the vibrant yellow makes for a perfect summer smoothie.

 

what you need 

1 frozen banana

1/2 cup frozen mango

1 cup almond milk + 2 ice cubes

1 medjool date, pitted

1 teaspoon ground turmeric

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger


what to do

Place all ingredients in a high powered blender and blend until smooth.

To serve, top with extra turmeric and cinnamon and enjoy right away.
